Jim has actively participated in the planning of the annual ITEN Wired Summit since 2012 and is in his 5th year serving as its director.

He is a native of Pensacola and a graduate of Tate High School and the University of West Florida, where he received his degree in finance. He moved to Charlotte, NC in 1997 with a goal of furthering his career in banking, but later developed a passion for information technology. Upon graduating ECPI College of Technology, he officially entered into the world of IT in 2001. After working several years as a network engineer, he and his family relocated back to Pensacola in 2007.

Jim has been employed by AppRiver since 2008 and currently manages the mobile solutions team which provides mobile device support for a global customer base of almost 300,000 users. He also serves as an advisor to the board of directors for IT Gulf Coast and as a board member for Innovation Coast.

He is married and has two sons. He enjoys golfing, kayaking, and fishing.

Jerry Massey is the Co-Owner of theCoderSchool in East Cobb. Growing up he loved to play video games, but his mother would always tell him that he should learn how to create video games – not just play them. He took her advice and studied Computer Engineering in college which taught him circuit design and coding and led him to a career spent leading teams that have built applications on mobile PC’s, websites, desktop computers and smartphones. He credits his career success to his mother’s early advice, to always learn what’s happening behind the scenes. He and his wife Kim are excited to bring this approach to learning technology to kids in the East Cobb area with theCoderSchool and believe it will unlock a world of opportunity for them to thrive in our technology-driven society.

Kim Massey is the Co-Owner of theCoderSchool in East Cobb. She truly believes that for a child to develop into a successful adult they must be challenged to think critically and problem solve; skills that will help them master ANY topic. She was drawn to theCoderSchool philosophy because it emphasizes the development of these skills while teaching kids to code in an environment where they are encouraged to learn and create. With a PhD in Community Psychology, her research has primarily focused on youth development. Doug Bates is the President of CMIT Solutions of Fayette/Coweta. Prior to opening CMIT in 2009, Doug spent 22 years in a corporate sales, marketing, and product management career that started with Lego toys where he was a 3 time sales MVP. It also included 10 years with GE Lighting where he won 3 General Managers Awards, and 4 years with Tyco as Global VP of Commercial Operations where he launched and executed a global rebranding strategy in 8 languages and 51 countries while living in Hong Kong. Doug is named on patents for a rare earth phosphor blend for fluorescent lighting and also a grip design for garment hangers.

Doug holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Speech Communication from Lindenwood University in St. Louis, and also graduated from GE’s world famous Crotonville Leadership Development Program. Doug is also 6 Sigma and LEAN Process certified.

In his spare time Doug has served on the Board of Directors at Woodland Christian Camp in Temple, GA since 2006, has spent 4 years as a volunteer community basketball coach for the Fayette County School system, has been a mentor for the Fayette Chamber Leadership Program and YP Young Proteges, and for the Fayette Chamber Jr. Entrepreneurs Contest. He just celebrated his 30^th wedding anniversary with his wife Angie, and has a daughter Kristen and son Nathan.

Ify Ifebi is a proud event junkie and social entrepreneur and the founder/CEO of vendorspace. She studied marketing at Howard University while simultaneously building her love for events. Her entrepreneurial journey straight out of college; she became notorious for hosting sold-out events on campus, which led to the opportunity to make her hobby, an actual profession: producing live events for the greater good. Having personally experienced the obstacles and challenges of organizing vendors at a variety of events large and small, nearby and out of state, Ify postulated a hypothesis that has become her passion: there must be a means to ease the stressful, frenetic facets of planning, organizing and orchestrating events, for planners and vendors alike. While fully aware of the stressful nature of events from her perspective as a coordinator, in talks with vendors, some common themes emerged between planners and vendors—and hence, vendorspace was born: a platform as simple and fun to use as Tinder, where harmonious, likeminded event-planners and vendors find one another quickly and easily.
