PRESS CONFERENCE: Infinite Energy Arena Unveils Marquee Sign

A press conference was held on December 2, 2015 to unveil the new Infinite Energy Arena marquee sign on top of the building. This was the first major sign installation since the naming rights announcement in August 2015.

Speakers at the press conference included Richard Tucker (Gwinnett CVB Chairman of the Board), Joseph Dennis (Infinite Energy Center GM), Darin Cook (Infinite Energy Co-Founder and Co-CEO), Jace Brooks (Gwinnett CVB Board Member) and J. Alvin Wilbanks (Gwinnett County Public Schools Superintendent).

The arena sign was designed by sky design of Atlanta, and the sign was constructed and installed by Henry Incorporated of Decatur. The sign dimensions are 17-feet tall and 96-feet long.

Infinite Energy secured the naming rights to the Infinite Energy Center campus over the next 20 years for a total investment of $18 million. This is the first naming rights partnership for both Infinite Energy and the Infinite Energy Center and the first major marquee sign for the venue.

He received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 1978, followed by his Masters of Business Administration from Georgia College and State University in 1989.

Joe Moss has served in executive leadership roles within the financial services industry for over 35 years. He currently serves as the president of Embassy National Bank as well as on its Board of Directors. Prior to his leadership role at Embassy, Mr. Moss served as President and COO of Appalachian Community Bank, Director of Lending at The Ardent Companies, Senior Lender at Security Exchange Bank and Director at Ceto and Associates. He brings to Embassy National Bank invaluable experience in myriad capacities including strategic planning, small business lending, investor relations and organizational development. Eagle Rock Studios Atlanta is the largest stage complex under one roof in the United States with 465,000 square feet of space. The facility includes two furnished production offices and four 30,000 sq. ft. stages, including 20,000 sq. ft. clear span, each with silent air conditioning and 4,000 amps. There are 50 loading docks surrounding the facility providing easy access to 100,000 sq. ft. of storage and 40,000 sq. ft. of supporting areas including shops, holding and catering areas.

Recently, Eagle Rock Studios Atlanta joined five other Georgia-based film studios to form the Georgia Studio & Infrastructure Alliance (GSIA), a new film and television studio and infrastructure association. The group hopes to serve as advocates for the education of crew members and the development of talent needed to keep clients returning to Georgia.

Georgia ranks third in the U.S. for feature film production. The film and television industry in Georgia directly employs 23,500 people, with nearly 8,200 production-related employees. The state reports the film industry had a $5.1 billion economic impact during the 2014 fiscal year.
