“Gwinnett Business Radio” launched on November 6, 2012. Exactly 8 years and 360 episodes later, the longest-running B2B podcast in Gwinnett County is still going strong!

Today’s special show celebrates and looks back at the launch of the Business RadioX studio in Duluth, GA, the key people and moments that made it happen, and how the studio has established itself as the “Voice of Business” in Gwinnett.

Rick Strawn/Paradigm Security Services

Rick Strawn is the Owner and CEO of Paradigm Security Services and the host of “Case in Point”, a weekly radio show and podcast that first aired on June 6, 2018. The popular show is about to reach 100 episodes on Business RadioX.

 


Steve Kendrick/Subaru of Gwinnett

Steve Kendrick is the Executive General Manager of Subaru of Gwinnett and Infiniti of Gwinnett. Subaru of Gwinnett has served as the exclusive naming rights partner of the Business RadioX studio in Gwinnett since April of 2015.

 


Tiffany Krumins/Mom Genius

Tiffany Krumins was the first ever contestant to receive an offer on ABC’s hit TV show Shark Tank in 2009 when Barbara Corcoran invested $50,000 into Tiffany’s talking children’s medicine dispenser Ava the Elephant. From 2016-2018. she was the host of the “Tiffany Krumins Show” on Business RadioX.

Titan Electric Georgia is a full-service, commercial electrical contractor in the metro Atlanta area. They have a new construction group that partners with many of the large General Contractors to complete projects in the industrial, hospitality, high-rise multifamily/retail, medical, education and entertainment vertical markets. They have a team of seasoned superintendents that deliver a first-class experience to their clients.

In addition to the new construction division, they have a Small Projects/Interiors group, Service Department as well as in in-house Low Voltage team that handles the voice/data and AV equipment installations all over the United States.

Their jobs are currently located at various sites around Atlanta. The Charleston, SC office is a satellite office of Titan Electric Georgia that houses the team that is expanding their reach into the Charleston market.

The Sugarloaf Community Improvement District was formed in 2016 to ensure the long-term success of Gwinnett County’s premiere business and entertainment district. It is located in one of the region’s top ten employment centers and is also home to the Infinite Energy Center, a regional destination that attracts over a million visitors a year. The CID is a self-taxing district that leverages property tax dollars to make improvements in our area. Property owners who are members have the opportunity to voice their opinions, while the CID works on their behalf for specific initiatives to increase connectivity, ensure security, promote a more attractive environment to live work and play. Bonnie Rich of Bonnie Rich Law, LLC has over 25 years of experience in a variety of civil litigation, tax law, wills and estate planning and business matters. She has represented individuals, business owners and local governments and has served as in house counsel for a major financial services corporation. In addition, since 2008 she has taught law students valuable skills in litigation, client counseling and professional and ethical responsibility.

Bonnie is a graduate of the Honors Program at the University of Georgia, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1991. She received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Georgia State University in 1994.

She pursues her passion for children, the less fortunate, and animals by serving on the Board of Directors for the Sage School, the Philip C. Cook Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, and the Georgia SPCA.

​Bonnie has been married since 1999 to Randy Rich, who serves the State of Georgia and Gwinnett County as a Superior Court Judge. They have two children and three rescue dogs and live in Suwanee.

Allen Venet is a Senior Vice President at SunTrust Bank (now Truist) and relies on more than 35 years of experience when working with clients. He has handled estates and trusts valued from less than $1 million to more than $200 million – with each including unique personal property. A graduate of Southern Illinois University and the University of Illinois College of Law, he practiced estate planning law and then served as an advisor at the leading trust department in his native Chicago before joining SunTrust, Atlanta in 1995. He is a regular speaker at legal and trust continuing education programs in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and other states. He and his wife live in DeKalb County where they raised their two sons.
