Elease Dillard/The Student Navigator

Months before her high school graduation, Elease Dillard made the tough decision to deny the opportunity to pursue playing college basketball and solely pursue academics instead. Considering the last-minute decision to not play college basketball, plus having a younger sibling graduating high school in two years, Elease concluded that she would pay for college herself. However, there was one problem. She had no idea how or where to start!

With that goal in mind, Elease developed a plan of action and was able to graduate college debt-free. She graduated college Cum Laude from Georgia Gwinnett College and currently holds a B.S. in Cell Biology with a concentration in Biotechnology. As a freshman and sophomore in college, Elease interned with The Neuroscience Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine. Her junior year, she interned on behalf of The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) at The University of California San Francisco, where she conducted an independent study.

Experienced at winning scholarships and landing internships, Elease founded The Student Navigator because she wants to help ease the stress and frustration that is commonly associated with paying for a degree and pursuing a career. In addition, she encourages students to maximize their educational experience. Elease hopes her story will inspire others to take action towards living in freedom, passion, and purpose.

Elease is also the bestselling author of Funding College Debt-Free: your Interactive Guide Towards Living a Life of Freedom, Passion, and Purpose.

Cally D’Angelo/Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce

The Gwinnett Chamber is the forum for business, government, education, healthcare, arts/culture/entertainment, and philanthropic and public-service communities to come together to advance our region’s economy and enrich Gwinnett’s quality of life.

Bruce Wing/Strategic Wealth

Strategic Wealth is a fee-based financial planning and business consulting firm located in Alpharetta. While there are a lot of financial planning firms in and around Atlanta, what differentiates Strategic Wealth from its competitors are three things: an unique, values-driven process that they employ when working with individuals & businesses; a focus on improving cash flow and reducing expenses and taxes; and helping people and businesses become their own bank.

Renee Barnes/ComplyTrain

Renee Barnes is a software entrepreneur and founder of ComplyTrain. Renee has over 20 years experience in corporate HR and IT training. She has developed programs for Coca-Cola, Home Depot, Visa, Western Digital, Warner Brothers, AOL, Lockheed Martin, Neustar, and many more. As an entrepreneur, Renee has watched her fellow founders and colleagues navigate the waters of HR lawsuits and EEOC fines, and she decided to use her experience and passion for building solutions to help solve the issue. She realized that small businesses and startups are most vulnerable for HR lawsuits because they usually lack the legal team or HR resources to build a solid compliance program. As a result, Renee founded ComplyTrain, a complete HR compliance software for startups and small businesses.

Andrew Walker/Brady Ware & Company

Developing a successful financial strategy for your business, your family, and yourself has become more difficult then ever. The economy is creating challenges across industries. Tax and health care laws change daily, and regulatory oversight grows increasingly intense. Brady Ware is a public accounting firm with more then 150 industry experts ready to help you conquer your accounting and financial needs. They are here to help you understand how your business is operating today, creating a roadmap for where you want to go tomorrow. Businesses need more than a casual relationship with an accountant. Brady Ware combines unparalleled tax, audit, and advisory expertise with industry-specific knowledge. They work with you collaboratively and efficiently to create custom solutions that fit your needs.
