Hey everyone! Thanks for joining me here at “Status Life with Leta“.

I’m Leta and I’m the a mother of two amazing minis, soon to be a stepmother of two others, a vendor boutique owner, interior designer, blogger, and podcaster. That’s all on paper (well more on the computer nowadays). What I’m passionate about is helping people create spaces they love, traveling the world, and encouraging others to live their best life. I guess I should have started by saying I love God, religion, and spirituality. I call myself a seeker and I can’t get enough knowledge about the world. I would give anyone the shirt off my back, but I’ll also be the first to set anyone straight. It’s a quality that can rub many the wrong way. I say what I mean and I wear my emotions for all to see. I don’t apologize for it. That’s all me and also, why I’m here. I want to motivate and encourage others to live their best life. “Status Life with Leta” is the place for all of us to share stories, get inspiration, and find purpose in life. Deena Goldstein is the COO of Measurabilities Home Safety – Fall Prevention Home Safety company in Scottsdale, along with her husband Sandy. Together they have served the valley providing clinically guided fall prevention home safety solutions for more than 10 years.

When she’s not educating and fostering community partnerships, Deena has been painting and exhibiting her multimedia work across the valley. Sandy Hansen-Wolff has spent her entire career as a business leader and entrepreneur.

Sandy started her speaking, coaching, and consulting business nearly two decades ago. For over twenty years she has been spiritually assisting people in becoming the unique persons they are. Pastor Pugh has been married to her high school sweetheart, Danny Pugh, for 42 years. They have four grown married children and seventeen grandchildren. They have resided in the Phoenix area for 17 years.

Prior to that they have lived in Raleigh, NC, Houston, TX., and Little Rock, AR. She loves people, is creative, nurturing and an exceptional preacher. She helps people becoming the best they can be.

While we commonly think about grief in relation to a death, catastrophic injury or illness, grief can surprise us in many more mundane circumstances, like a child going to college, a move, or a change in health status. Sometimes the change can be a good change, but creates mixed emotions in an individual. This is a form of grief!

Handling grief is like having a flat tire. It doesn’t fix itself. There are certain key steps that need to be taken in order to repair the damage. And no one is immune. It will happen to you! And often, loss breeds more loss – “when it rains, it pours”! Listen in as Anne provides some advice about developing a Grief Recovery skill set.

Don Johnson’s path to his position at Brentwood Hospice as the Spiritual Care Coordinator has been an eclectic one. After beginning his training for the Priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church, he switched directions. He became a Methodist Minister, pastoring five different United Methodist Churches. Though he loved being a pastor, Don felt a call to work in an area that was more intimate. In addition to working the streets of Dallas’ inner city, he also started working with the terminally ill. Today, Don works to provide pastoral care to those dealing with imminently terminal illnesses.
