WHY BEST OF HEALTH?

I am a Physician Assistant who has been caring for patients for over 20 years and Family Practice (cradle to grave) is my specialty.

Following the footsteps of three generations of family practice physicians (my father, grandfather and great grandfather) this was a natural and genetic calling that I do not regret.

Given this, I have a unique perspective and it’s time to share that perspective through Ask the PA. As a health care provider, teacher, business owner, patient, and advocate for my family and friends throughout the years, it has been painfully apparent there are disconnects within the current state of health care in the US and throughout the world. It can be confusing and frankly very scary.

It is my goal though this series, Best of Health, to bring people together that are passionate about their roles in the business of health care… and yes, whether or not you want to hear that it’s a business, it is — and that’s the fact. I will introduce to you great, dedicated practitioners and people with a passion for getting the word out about their personal journeys and causes. I will provide information about navigating through a confusing system, asking the right questions and share ways for saving money and time along the way.

It’s time to create change by partnering, empowering, and focusing on the patient, their families and their providers of care. It’s time for you to take the driver’s seat rather than leave your health care solely in the hands of entities such as insurance companies and the pharmaceutical industry.

Stay tuned. Here’s to your Best of Health.

RHINO NATION ACN Regional Vice President Wendee Saunders and Exceptional Sales Performance Coach Connie Kadansky

ACN began as a reseller of long distance services in the U.S., and within their first five years in business, ACN ranked 22nd in Inc. magazine’s list of fastest-growing companies in North America.

Founded in 1993, ACN was the vision of four entrepreneurs – Greg Provenzano, Robert Stevanovski, Tony Cupisz and Mike Cupisz. They had countless years of direct sales experience between them, but were dissatisfied with other companies and job opportunities they had encountered. They realized that the only way to find a company they wanted to be a part of was to create that company.

So with a yellow legal pad in front of them, they formulated a business plan. On one side of the page they wrote down everything that they knew worked well, and on the other side everything that didn’t. They ripped the page in half and only kept the side that contained what would become the governing principles behind ACN – integrity, solid business practices, and a commitment to always putting the needs of the masses above the needs of themselves. And those are the same principles that drive the company today, over two decades later.

Wendee-Saunders-on-Phoenix-Business-RadioXFor over 25 years now Wendee Saunders has been celebrating a woman’s right to success and independence. Whether through her business, career, family or personal relationships. As a Mom she is committed to inspiring her kids to grow and become their highest potential and live a full, happy, purposeful life by being an example of what’s possible. As a business woman she is committed to bringing constant value to her clients and business partners, both economically and socially developing rewarding relationships along the way. All of this requires Wendee to be in a constant state of growth to appreciate all people and learning, to live in a state of abundance to attract wealth, greater opportunities and to inspire others to do the same.

Wendee is blessed to be in a business where she can continuously shoot for the stars, where they have a network of individuals that hold them to account, and that through the personal growth she is pushed towards each day, she can be an example for many.

Organizations that want to make sure their salespeople are engaged in the right activities, i.e., getting in front of customers and selling their products. When salespeople are not focused on their daily key performance indicators, there are many different reasons. One reason which is often ignored and devilishly costly – Sales Call Reluctance, the emotional hesitation to prospect and self-promote.

Connie administers the only assessment on the market that measures the 12 types of Sales Call Reluctance, along with the motivation and goal orientation of the sales person. Proper diagnosis is key prior to any prescriptive measures. Once diagnosed, Connie consults/advises on getting the results. She has been working with diverse sales teams for 20 years.

Conscious Business Journey with Keren Goldenberg Thomas Eckschmidt Scott McIntosh and Brian Mohr

Conscious Business Journey is a US based, for- profit organization, founded by a group of enthusiastic conscious capitalists. All of us led at some point conscious capitalism chapters under Conscious Capitalism, Inc.

We nurtured communities, wrote articles and books about making capitalism more conscious, in parallel to build our own businesses. CBJWhiteLogo

What brought us together was the passion to make this vision more actionable, clear and easy to implement in any business.

So we combined our knowledge and developed practical programs, which are happily and rapidly being adopted by conscious capitalists around the world.

Our purpose is to accelerate conscious business impact of making the world a better place, by empowering people.

Keren Goldenberg has been in corporate communication and employee engagement 13 years with global companies like HP. She is the General Manager of Conscious Capitalism Israel since 2015.

Thomas Eckschmidt is a former farmer, degree in engineering with MBA in Finance. He spent 10 years in the corporate world, 10 years in consulting through 20 different countries and 10 years of entrepreneurial journey, with 11 awards, 4 patent led and 7 books written, including coauthor of Conscious Capitalism Field Guide by HBR.

Scott-McIntosh-on-Phoenix-Business-RadioXFollowing an early career focused on underground mining engineering, operations and construction, Scott McIntosh grew McIntosh Engineering to become a preeminent worldwide engineering, design and project management firm focused on providing deep underground mining services to large international mining companies.  After growing to $50+ Million in annual revenue and 280 worldwide employees, McIntosh Engineering was acquired in 2008 and Scott began his exploration for what’s next. Conscious Capitalism Arizona was founded by Scott in 2012 as the 3rd Chapter in the world, following only Chicago and Australia.  Now CCAZ is part of a truly global movement with 40 total chapters including 10 international locations.

Brian Mohr’s career-to-date has been a learning-based journey with an intense focus on people, purpose, values, culture, leadership, and advocating capitalism as a force for good. Brian was a founding member of Jobing.com, one of the original online job boards, which he helped grow to over 350 employees and $38M in revenue over an 11-year period. He later became director of talent strategy & acquisition for P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and Pei Wei Asian Diner restaurants before joining forces with his co-founder, Max Hansen, to create the first purpose-based leadership search firm, Y Scouts, in 2012. In the summer of 2018, Brian doubled down on his commitment to leveraging business as a powerful force for good and joined the Arizona Chapter of Conscious Capitalism as its first President.

Brian is on the Global Board of Trustees of Conscious Capitalism, Inc., a member of the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of the Pacific Southwest, and author of his first book, “Hiring on Purpose – How the Y Scouts Method is Revolutionizing the Search for Leaders”.
