David Shavzin/The Value Track

David Shavzin created The Value Track to help business owners build value and create a path towards a successful exit. Too often, they have not built the value they need and are unprepared when the time comes to put their transition into action.

Since 2000, David has helped business owners get on The Value Track. He helps them think through their long-term goals and plans, educates them on business value and brings the right collaborative advisory team around the table. He then assists in the implementation of value-growth initiatives, guiding them to a successful transition (sale, family transfer, etc.). His 7-step process improves their quality of life and allows them to exit on their own terms.

A frequent speaker on these topics, David is a CMC, former IMC Georgia chapter president, and President and Co-Founder of Exit Planning Exchange Atlanta, formed to bring advisors together in a collaborative effort to serve their clients.

Monte Ortel/Mitsubishi Electric Classic

The Mitsubishi Electric Classic is a PGA TOUR Champions event hosted annually at TPC Sugarloaf.

The Mitsubishi Electric Classic returns to the metro Atlanta area April 13-19, 2020 and features legends of the game such as Tom Watson, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Bernhard Langer, John Daly, Vijay Singh, and David Toms. The Mitsubishi Electric Classic proudly stands as a premier golf tournament on the PGA TOUR Champions, but this event is much more than a golf tournament.

The events and activities associated with the Mitsubishi Electric Classic provide an all-inclusive, entertaining atmosphere and the beautiful views of TPC Sugarloaf serve as a backdrop for world-class golf and provide the perfect venue to mingle with friends and business leaders while watching the legends of the game.

The event, which will benefit local charities through the Gwinnett Championship Foundation Inc., has raised over $2.3 million since the first tournament in 2013. All three rounds of the Mitsubishi Electric Classic are televised internationally by the Golf Channel.

Mike Maloney/TPC Sugarloaf

Situated on 1,200 acres of breathtaking Georgia countryside within the gated community of Sugarloaf Country Club, TPC Sugarloaf offers a winning combination. In addition to 27 holes of magnificent golf designed by Greg Norman, TPC Sugarloaf offers an array of amenities with the personalized service and privileges that have become synonymous with the PGA TOUR’s acclaimed TPC Network of premier clubs.

TPC Sugarloaf’s par-72, 7,259-yard championship golf course is comprised of nine holes called “The Stables” and nine holes named “The Meadows.” Named by Golf Digest among the “Best New Private Clubs in the U.S.” when it debuted in 1997, and by Golfweek among the “Top 100 Best Residential Golf Courses for 2007-2008,” TPC Sugarloaf’s featured 18 holes are accented by tree-lined Bermuda fairways, streams, lakes and hills.

Eastside’s Breast and Diagnostic Center is located on the Eastside Medical Center Main Campus in Medical Plaza 1, which is located at 1700 Tree Lane in Snellville.

About Eastside’s Breast and Diagnostic Center

About 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer during their lifetime, according to the American Cancer Society. While the cause of breast cancer is still unknown, we do know that it can be easier to treat breast cancer when it is found early.

Eastside’s Breast and Diagnostic Center partners with their patients to detect and treat breast cancer as quickly as possible and at its earliest stages by using the latest state-of-the-art technology and an experienced care team. Eastside’s Breast Center offers digital mammograms, the latest 3D mammography technology, breast ultrasound and breast MRI, breast biopsy, and genetic risk assessment and testing.

Eastside’s Breast and Diagnostic Center is an accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiation for achieving high practice standards in image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs. The center is also accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. Eastside’s Breast Center care team works alongside their comprehensive oncology program, which has been accredited with commendation by the Commission on Cancer since 1998. During the month of October, Eastside bands together with their community to increase awareness of the disease and honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

John Ray, Host of “North Fulton Business Radio,” and Alan Crowe, Room2work
Alan Crowe, Room2work

Alan Crowe developed the idea for Room2work in 2016 while President of SpecPoint Incorporated. His experience finding the right space for SpecPoint, plus an understanding of what his customers, mostly contractors, needed in a commercial space, helped form early versions of the Room2work concept.

There are lots of commercial options for business owners that only need office space. However, there’s a substantial gap between a home-based business and the jump to a commercial space if you need storage space for inventory or equipment. Room2work bridges that gap by providing flexible office, meeting, and warehouse space under one roof.

Ultimately, Room2work is more than just coworking – it’s an ecosystem of space plus services like accounting, marketing and logistics that give business owners the confidence to leave their home office and let their business grow.

For more information, call (470) 721-0606 or go to their website, https://www.room2work.com/.

“Beyond the Cupola” allows invited customers, community, and team members of Oconee State Bank to have an opportunity to share their stories of success and inspiration, and/or how the Remarkable culture of Oconee State Bank has inspired them to mark lives in their own right.

Lucas Acosta/Foojee

Foojee prides themselves on building rock-solid solutions created to serve by helping you achieve your goals through your Apple technology. Here are five things you should know about Foojee:

  • Foojee was born out of a calling to serve. They combined that calling with their enthusiasm of Apple products and created a company.
  • They’re in it to win it. Foojee doesn’t outsource their talent. All of their team members are W-2 employees with benefits, and each one adds their own spice to the Foojee brand.
  • Why the name Foojee? Well, the Fuji apple is their founder’s favorite type of apple. Simple as that.
  • Since Foojee opened shop, they’ve grown on referrals alone.
  • Foojee creates monthly Apple-centric videos filled with tips, news, advice, and the occasional joke. It’s how they like to keep in touch with their clients.

Tom Wilson/Oconee State Bank

In the early 1900s, there were banks in all the small towns of Oconee County… Bishop, Bogart, Eastville, Farmington and Watkinsville. When the Depression came along in 1929, all the banks went broke and Oconee County was without a bank for the next 30 years. Farmers and small merchants had to travel to Athens for their banking needs.

In 1958, a group of community leaders recognized the need for a bank in Oconee County and started a process of getting the necessary approval for a state chartered community bank. In 1959, the FDIC approved a community bank and Oconee State Bank opened its doors for business on February 1, 1960 with 3 employees and a small corner office on Main Street in downtown Watkinsville.

Today, Oconee State Bank has 3 full-service financial centers located in Oconee County, GA as well as a website which serves as an “Internet Branch.” The vision of the founders continues today. Oconee State Bank is proud to provide an unparalleled commitment to personalized service, value-added products, and a deep sense of responsibility to the communities they serve.
