Justice Nicole with OurErrands was born on the summer day of May 22nd, 1994 in Ventura California; to her amazing parents Thelma and Daniel. When Justice was 11 years old she had her first personal assisting job helping a local artist in California schedule and set up his showcases. Fast forward 12 years and she is a graduate of the illustrious Clark Atlanta University where she earned her dual-degree in Business Management and Supply Chain; and now owns the first on-demand personal assisting company. Quick services like lyft, instacart, and postmates encouraged herself and her cousin to think smarter not harder, and create something that will disrupt start-up tech companies not just in Atlanta, in the nation. OurErrands is a platform that focuses on OUR Assistants, OUR Clients, and both of their experiences. We have created a platform where college-educated individuals can showcase their skillsets to work for a small business owner or entrepreneur that is already in their desired field. Stop working retail jobs in college and come gain cross-functional work experience with OurErrands.

StevenCarse

In true Founder fashion Steven Carse has never walked into King of Pops without a new idea and a pat on the back for the crew. His mind never stops moving, producing on average 100 ideas per week, and though most of them are beyond our possibilities, the 1% that make the cut are true gold. Steven loves his community, his KoP family, and he truly couldn’t envision a different life.

Steven Carse is one-of-a-kind; he has a really big heart and his employees are proud to have an owner who cares about their well-being as much as he does.

Diego Torres is simultaneously the most stylish and saucy employee at King of Pops, wearing exclusively black or rose gold. He is our resident Marketing Coordinator and is a man of many talents. He runs our social media accounts and wears the hat of in-house publicist. Even though he’s new to the Kingdom, he’s taken to it like a fish to water, diving right into the deep end of KoP shenanigans.

Diego is a founding member of the KoP Running Club, which is a great way to burn off all the Cookies n’ Cream pops he eats throughout the day. Diego wears the shirt and it reads, “Fearless.”

Andrei Caciula moved to the United States in 2003 and began his long-standing career with The Palm Restaurant Group in 2004 at the age of 21. Starting out as a server’s assistant and bar back in addition to numerous kitchen positions, Andrei quickly worked his way up to Manager of The Palm Atlanta.

After spending a few years in his managerial position, Andrei transferred to New York where he took on the role of Assistant General Manager at The Palm West Side. Today Andrei oversees all operations and staff at The Palm Atlanta where he says every day is his favorite day on the job.

Since Atlanta is constantly growing with an eclectic mix of locals, Andrei caters to professionals in industries such as music, television, sports, legal and real estate to name a few. He goes above and beyond to make every diner’s experience memorable and reminds his staff that every guest wants to be treated like a celebrity and every celebrity wants to be treated like a regular guest; a philosophy that has earned The Palm top ranking in Atlanta’s restaurant scene.

As the General Manager, he encourages all guests to stop by the bar and ask for a “Pinky;” an exclusive cocktail unique to The Palm Atlanta and a local favorite. Cheers!

The Coder School story was made possible because of the generosity of Tim O’Connor with Terraform Group. Learn how you can help tell a story like this one here.

Jerry Massey is the Co-Owner of theCoderSchool in East Cobb. Growing up he loved to play video games, but his mother would always tell him that he should learn how to create video games – not just play them. He took her advice and studied Computer Engineering in college which taught him circuit design and coding and led him to a career spent leading teams that have built applications on mobile PC’s, websites, desktop computers and smartphones. He credits his career success to his mother’s early advice, to always learn what’s happening behind the scenes. He and his wife Kim are excited to bring this approach to learning technology to kids in the East Cobb area with theCoderSchool and believe it will unlock a world of opportunity for them to thrive in our technology-driven society.

Kim Massey is the Co-Owner of theCoderSchool in East Cobb. She truly believes that for a child to develop into a successful adult they must be challenged to think critically and problem solve; skills that will help them master ANY topic. She was drawn to theCoderSchool philosophy because it emphasizes the development of these skills while teaching kids to code in an environment where they are encouraged to learn and create. With a PhD in Community Psychology, her research has primarily focused on youth development. She has spent over 15 years providing organizational and database development consulting services to non-profit organizations across the nation. She looks forward to using her experience to help create the next generation of leaders.
