Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia

At the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia, everything they do centers around one purpose: improving the world through the power of philanthropy.

On a fundamental level, they do that through managing funds held in trust, donated by individuals, organizations, and businesses. Most funds are donor-advised funds, similar to savings accounts. These funds are pooled for investment purposes, and their income is used to make grants for a wide variety of charitable purposes.

But the Foundation’s goals extend far beyond managing funds. They desire to strengthen the communities they serve in Gwinnett, Northeast Georgia, and beyond by providing leadership, addressing community needs, and assisting individuals and organizations with their charitable giving.

Linqqs ERC Specialists

COVID-19 has been a challenge for all of us. As the world shut down the economy came to a halt, leaving the future of many businesses in a precarious position. As we begin to find normalcy again, businesses now have to focus on recovering and fortunately, several government programs are easing this process.

One such program is the Employee Retention Credit or ERC, which is a generous stimulus program designed to bolster those businesses that were able to retain their employees during this challenging time. Due to the extremely complex tax code and qualifications, it is severely underutilized.

No need to be the guinea pig for your CPA. Linqqs averages 10-20% more funding than a CPA not familiar with the program. They evaluate your claim in every way possible to ensure they maximize your credit.

Their streamlined processes allow for faster results, which means faster funding. Their team strictly focuses on ERC allowing them to be the experts and resulting in more funding for your business. Although the process is quick and painless, when you have questions they have answers with a dedicated team of ERC support specialists.

He applies those same techniques to non-profits to improve their efficiency and those that seek fundraising assistance and/or guidance by leveraging his communication, writing, and teaching skills.

He is co-owner of Roswell’s Houck’s Grille since opening in 2015. Jeff is married 38 years to Nancy and has 2 adult children, Matthew, and Christine.

ONEHOPE Wine, Uncork With Jane

Like most stories worth telling, ours begins with a group of friends, humble beginnings, and a skyward vision.

They were working for some of the world’s largest wineries and they all felt an undeniable calling to do good. What started with 168 cases and a white pick-up has grown to become a state-of-the-art flagship winery in the heart of Napa Valley.

The founders saw firsthand just how much impact a bottle of wine can have. They began hosting wine tastings to raise money for important causes and encouraged and inspired others to do the same. Today, ONEHOPE is one of the largest direct-to-consumer wineries in the world and has proudly donated over $8 million to local and global causes.

ONEHOPE’s award-winning wines are made from the finest grapes sourced from world-renowned winemaking regions. Their commitment to quality is as strong as their commitment to the causes they support.

Jane Eastham, Uncork With Jane, is a Cause Entrepreneur with ONEHOPE Wine.

Jane Eastham, Cause Entrepreneur, ONEHOPE Wine

Jane is a native of Indiana and a graduate of Purdue University. She had a long career with Kimberly-Clark Corporation, with almost 30 years in Supply Chain Management, retiring in 2016. She has been actively involved with many nonprofits since her youth.

Since landing in Georgia, she has been a participant fundraiser, coach, and mentor for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, having completed many marathons, triathlons, and cycling events with Team in Training.

These fundraisers led her to find ONEHOPE, a Napa Valley Winery that gives back to the nonprofits designated by their customers. It seemed like a perfect fit… sharing great wine while helping individuals and businesses support their communities and the organizations they are passionate about.

She and her husband, John, live in Alpharetta and spend their free time enjoying the outdoors, traveling, and exploring nature!
