Ken Double/Atlanta Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society

The Atlanta Chapter is one of 65 local chapters of the American Theatre Organ Society. ATOS is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of the theatre pipe organ, like “Mighty Mo” at the Atlanta Fox. The chapter has an instrument at Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, with a series of concerts forthcoming. ATOS President Ken Double has toured as a concert performer since 1978, including seven trips to Australia, two to the U.K., and is he one of the two organists at The Fox. They are a most unique “niche” in the music world. The chapter dates to 1964 and played a major role in the Save the Fox campaign.

Senator Brandon Beach is the executive director and one of the founders of the North Fulton Community Improvement District (CID). The group focuses on moving infrastructure projects forward. Under his leadership, the North Fulton CID has invested more than $18 million to help bring more than $91 million in new infrastructure for the district area. Senator Beach is a member of numerous community boards including the Regional Business Coalition, Encore Park for the Arts, and the Historic Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Senator Beach received an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Centenary College. He is also a graduate of the Regional Leadership Institute and a former member of the Alpharetta City Council and the Alpharetta Planning and Zoning Commission. He and his wife Shuntel have two children and have lived in Alpharetta for 24 years.

The Bucks were the 2017 Can-Am Indoor Football League Champions and led the league in points as well as attendance. Tim and his wife Cherie reside in Daytona Beach, FL and are now seeking a second home in the Buford area. Tim attended high school at South Burlington in Vermont and college at Glenville State where he was a kicker on the football team. He graduated from the Community College of Vermont. After college he played four years of arena football in Daytona Beach.
