Melanie and I began this real estate experience together in 1995 and for more than 22 years have worked together to deliver the very best real estate experience to our customers.

I have been a Florida Licensed Realtor for over 20 years, have SOLD more than $500,000,000 worth of every kind of real estate from Pensacola to Destin to 30A and Panama City Beach.

In 2004 our team had outgrown the office space available at REMAX Southern Realty, I got my brokers’ license and we became Eimers Group Real Estate. Over these last 11 years we all have experienced a unique real estate economy and from this experience made the conscious decision to leave our agents and assistants and go back to doing what we enjoy most about the real estate industry and that is selling real estate.

Melanie & I are the brokerage now “Powered by EXP Realty”, both take this business very personally, so we can continue to provide a personalized boutique real estate experience to our customers.

With over 20 years of real estate experience, my job as I see it is to solve complicated issues associated with selling and buying real estate today and to help address customer expectations.

We continue to work in the same geographical area that we have worked in 1995, Destin to Miramar Beach To 30A and West Panama City Beach – all south of the bays.

A Few of my Awards

REMAX International sales achievement awards include; Platinum Club Award, Chairman’s Club Award, Premier Community Citizenship Award & RE/MAX International Hall of Fame Award.

EMERALD COAST ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS; 6 years Chairman – Multiple Listing Service Committee, 4 years as Destin Board Director & 2005 Emerald Coast Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Award.

Let Us Find
Your Dream Home

We take pride in employing the most powerful tools in real estate. Together, we’ll find a space that fits you best, and we’ll back it up with real-time listing alerts, neighborhood expertise, and rich market reports so that you know you’re making the best investment possible.

Consulate General of Japan Liaison/Kumiko Sakurama Curtis

I come from a very diverse background with a lot of Japanese cultural history, religious doctrines, political beliefs, and social ideologies.  I was born in Nagasaki, Japan after the atomic bombing took place.  Both my parents are survivors of the WWII era.  My father served in the Japanese Army/POW returned to Nagasaki after the war.  Mom, age 23 at that time, is a direct survivor of the atomic bomb where she was able to shield herself from the blast and thermal radiation in the Nagasaki rugged terrain.  I am a cancer survivor from the indirect effects from the atomic fallout.

My families are of the Samurai blood line.  Mom’s grandfather family (lived in a Samurai Castle) was second in power during the Kumamoto Samurai period.   Father’s families were also Samurai (farmers in surrounding mountains) much like what was illustrated in the movie “The Last Samurai”. (Known as the Japan Civil War Era).

After High School I was trained as a tour guide for City of Nagasaki and the “Glover House & Gardens” which later known as the “Madama Butterfly House” after Puccini wrote what has become one of the best world acclaimed opera’s.   I even had to sing parts of this opera while giving these guided tours (Beautiful Day).

I married a U.S. Navy soldier and found myself in the United States where I earned my Accounting Degree from the University of West Florida (Graduated 1998).  I have used my degree both working for the Navy Exchange and Sacred Heart Hospital.  I have always given back my knowledge and caring nature through working and volunteering in community.   I have worked part time with the Japan Center at the University of West Florida (Over 15 years).  My volunteerism is numerous:  Sacred Heart Children’s Miracle Network, Japanese-American Society, Double Bridge Run, Blue Angel Run, Diabetes Walk, Pensacola Spring Fest, Sister City Hagiwara/Pensacola inter-cultural exchange interpreter, Board Japanese American Society of Northwest Florida and more.

In January 2012, I was asked to develop a PowerPoint presentation for the members/performers/families of the Pensacola Opera as a community diversity educational event for Japan Center at the University of West Florida.  The project was such a big success that others have asked to develop my presentation about “Madama Butterfly” story into a diversity training/educational program…..

March 2014, I was asked to serve as Liaison, for the Consulate-General Japan in Miami for the Pensacola/Northwest Florida region.

t began as a concept in early 2003 in Atlanta GA, due to schooling family and recovery from the dot.com crash. The Idea was scrapped until early 2008. When life resettled, the approach was to create stories on vinyl stickers and apparel.
In 2009 through hidden success of association with “another” familiar in the Dark Arts of Storytelling, most people in general thought we were reselling RAZRWING under another name, and most people thought we were already an established brand in a store. In June of 2015 We had done a Press release to anticipate the Coming of the Company Magic Leap, s that showed off Our early concepts of a behavioral retail game using Augmented Reality, examples of interactions such as Hostile, Friendly, and Neutral
During that time we relocated and based our operations in Brisbane CA. As of 2017 we have come full circle with our operations based in Duluth,GA.
In the last nine years the definition of “Story Gaming Apparel” hasn’t changed really.  We have somehow been ahead of the curve and thought other companies would be adopting the technology.  Companies that were based in, virtual, augmented, and mixed reality and applying it to storytelling through 3D modeling animation, interactive gaming, and interactive avatar storytelling on Apparel and Accessories.
So to be clear we are building original storytelling that will be experienced only in retail for apparel and accessories through the use of augmented, mixed reality and soon to come, XR technology (no glassware needed ) not based off traditional video or mobile games or movies. Video game licenses like JINX or THINKGEEK or movie licenses like HOT TOPIC or SPENCERS have.

We are building all original interactive games with characters using personalities and themes based on AGGRESSION, OBSESSION, SEDUCTION, ATTENTION, that you will come to know.  We will use augmented and mixed reality through your smartphone, tablet and soon glass wear (headset) that will let you scan other Razrwing Apparel, accessories and “Tagged” Merchandise.. as R Story”E”volves.
