Hosts of The Shrimp Tank Chris Hanks, Ted Jenkin and Lee Heisman

Bryan Keller

Bryan Keller

Bryan Keller is a senior at KSU, graduating in May with a business management degree and finance minor. Bryan’s passion is music, specifically guitar, and he enjoys utilizing that passion for worship. Because of this passion, Bryan decided to start a company called Keller Guitars, which sells acoustic/electric guitars with different bible verses burned or foil pressed onto the face of the piece. Bryan began the venture only 3 months ago, so it is very new, but will be launching its first line of acoustic guitars in March, 2017. This line will be called The Carpenter Series and will display Psalms 95 on the guitar.

Rotey

Rotey

Rotey was born in a relatively small town named Waterloo, Iowa, where he spent his early childhood. When Rotey was 9 years old, he moved south to the metro Atlanta area. It was shortly after the move, when Rotey’s parents split up, and his Father moved back north to Chicago, leaving his mother to provide for the two of them, and a young Rotey with plenty of time alone. It was during this isolation that his passion for hip hop was born. Rotey bought his first “rhyme book” in high school, and hasn’t looked back since. What started out as just a way to express himself, has since blossomed into a full-blown career as both an artist and producer, sweeping across college campuses in the southeast. Fueled by a relentless ambition, Rotey’s fast paced wordplay and emotionally packed memoirs, coupled with his charming charisma and sharp wit, ensure the young MC is not only here to stay, but to thrive.

Joey Ruse

Joey Ruse

Joey Ruse is a junior at Kennesaw State in the Entrepreneurship Program. He is the Vice President of Kennesaw State’s Enactus team, an organization dedicated to economic empowerment through sustainable, entrepreneurial action. Elise Akin

Elise Akin

Elise Akin is a senior at Kennesaw State University. Elise loves baking and the entire atmosphere of surfing, so she’s opening a half-bakery, half-longboarding shop called Bake and Skate. Elise has lived on every continent except Australia. Her heart aches for the women she’s lived with who create beautiful hand-crafted goods, but don’t get nearly as much as they deserve for their products. Elise has plans to incorporate her not-for-profit, Sew The World Knows, and will sell the products in her shop. Profits from sales will go back to their villages.

Hi, First Name! At My Pink Lawyer®, we know that women lead busy lives, and keeping up with a family’s day-to-day tasks is enough of a burden without considering the long-term future. That is why we built our estate planning practice on direct, friendly, no-nonsense service, taking the worry and confusion out of complex legal issues.

We want to help YOU make the best decisions possible to care and provide for your family, even after you’re gone. After all, the planning we do is not for our “stuff” or even ourselves in many instances. We plan because we love our families and understand that they will have to live with the decisions we made for their benefit when we had the opportunity to do so.

What Is Your Situation?

The goal of Florida women’s estate planning is to leave behind a LOVING LEGACY after you’re gone, not a mess!

Many women have experienced the nightmare of a loved one who left behind a mess, whether from disorganization, a poorly written plan, family disagreements, high post-death administration costs, or unintended consequences. We do not want YOUR LASTING LEGACY to be a nightmare for your family. Instead, we assist our clients in leaving behind well-laid plans—thoughtful, organized, and efficient plans—for their families.

Our Mission

We’re on a mission at My Pink Lawyer® to inspire, empower and assist Florida women like you to make educated, proactive, and smart planning decisions for your family and other loved ones.

Although estate planning can seem overwhelming to many women, you will never feel intimidated as we work together to design a plan that protects your family and carries out your long-term wishes. We are down-to-earth lawyers and will always provide you with practical and effective Florida estate planning advice. And you will never be pressured during the estate planning process.

Our process is simple: we begin by providing free, no-obligation initial consultations to discuss your unique estate planning goals. Once we know more about your situation and desires, we will quote you a flat fee for your planning needs that is agreed to in advance, ensuring that you will never encounter any hidden costs or unforeseen legal bills.

How We Can Help

At My Pink Lawyer®, we assist our clients with the following legal matters:

  • Estate Planning, Wills, and Living Trusts. We assist a variety of clients—especially Florida women, couples, mothers, and widows—whose primary concern is making sure their loved ones are protected throughout their lifetimes. Your Florida estate planning can include wills, trusts, naming guardians for your children, powers of attorney, and medical directives, as appropriate. You’ll receive our unbiased, honest, and practical advice in designing and implementing the best estate plan to care for yourself and your family. Plus, we will build a lasting relationship to ensure your family’s needs are covered throughout your lifetime.
  • Guardianships for Minors and Developmentally Disabled Adults. Naming guardians in writing for your minor and disabled children is imperative for every Florida mother. By naming guardians for your young children, you ensure that your kids are raised by the people you choose, rather than by a judge who doesn’t know you or your family. In addition, Florida parents lose their financial, legal, and medical protections over an adult child with developmental disabilities when he or she turns 18. We help parents in Florida become guardian advocates over their adult children who have special needs so they can continue making critical decisions for their children into adulthood.
  • Death Administration, Probate, and Trusts. We assist family members who have lost a Florida loved one with an orderly transition of assets from one generation to the next. This can include a Florida probate or trust administration and termination.
  • Special Needs Planning for Parents. Parents who have children with special needs have difficult decisions to make during the estate planning process. On one hand, parents want to leave their child with everything they need to live comfortably, but they also want to ensure that their disabled child remains eligible for public assistance benefits. We advise parents on creating special needs trusts or supplemental needs trusts to protect their disabled child’s future inheritance while also preserving their public assistance benefits. While we do not handle Social Security disability cases, we will be happy to refer you to colleagues we trust who can help you.

Meet Deb

Deb Moore is prepared for the role as your next Escambia County Tax Collector.  She continued her family’s tradition of service to our country and is a 12 year veteran of the United States Air Force.  Trained as a Cryptologist at Pensacola’s very own NTTC Corry Station, Deb went on to serve tours of duty in England, Greece, back at Corry Station and Japan. Throughout her career she was given responsibilities beyond her pay grade and she always rose to the challenge.  Deb was promoted to E6 by Brigadier General Paul Martin right here at Corry station for her efforts.  She made the next grade to MSgt in just 10 years, as she arrived in Japan.  There the Air Force was going through a paradigm shift in management to Total Quality Management (Malcolm Baldrige) and Deb was chosen as an instructor and the lead in bringing it to the unit. She continued her management studies with the University of Maryland and, in preparation for this job, just completed Management of a Tax Collector Office TCC502 offered through the FL DOR and TCC504 Collection of Licenses, Taxes and Fees later this month while she studies TCC501 Duties & Responsibilities of a Florida Tax Collector at home.

Deb’s commitment to her family and her community is consummate. Instrumental in the 1st Congressional District Honor Flight, taking World War II veterans to Washington, D.C., she has been recognized as An Angel in our Midst twice by WEAR TV3. This is her sixth year working to raise money to support underinsured and uninsured women in our community as a member of the Krewe du YaYa’s. She participates in Relay for Life, Pink Ribbon, and MSABC since 2005 and is a Road to Recovery Driver. Additionally, she is a United Way Board Member serving as their Advocacy/2-1-1 Chair and reads to a Pre-K student with Every Child a Reader in Escambia (ECARE).  Deb is the county appointee to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee and was elected as the vice chair.  She serves as the treasurer on her Condominium Association and manages their budget daily.  With the Community Traffic Safety Team, Deb is a certified helmet fitter and fits kids for bike helmets at local events.  From substitute teacher to PTO President, team mom, coach or Guardian Ad Litem — whatever was needed at the time in her son’s life or in her community, Deb has answered the call, including training as an FHSAA swim official and USTA tennis official.

My desire has always been to serve you – the citizens of our great country and now Escambia County. I bring both my extensive military and civilian life experience to the office of Tax Collector and I ask for your vote on November 8th.

DrinKitz was formed in 2012 to develop, produce, and market an innovative and unique line of powdered cocktail drink mixes. The company was formed by a group of US Navy guys far too cheap and lazy to fully stock and mix drinks from their own bars or the endurance to carry it all around.  After discovering that mixing drinks from a bartenders guide got more difficult with the number of drinks consumed they asked the golden question —why can’t we just add a packet to  our favorite alcohol, mix, and drink. Now you can!

Far different than anything on the market, these drinks  are easy to use and mix, require no knowledge of bartending or mixology, and save you time and money. Whether you’re hanging out by the pool, hosting an event at home, heading out on vacation, or want to impress family and friends, you’ll want these by your side. With  one shot of your vodka, rum, or tequila, a little water and ice, and your choice of over 30 drink mixes, with a quick shake you become an instant bartender. Want something different? No problem, just grab a different mix packet! Want something we don’t have, let us know.

Made in America with high-quality ingredients, and available through regional liquor distributors, various retail  markets, caterers, and on our own Amazon storefront (coming soon),  these great products put fantastic tasting, full-bar quality mixed drinks at your fingertips—without the bar tab.

Kevin Parr is minority owner and Chief Operating Officer of DrinKitz LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.  A former Navy Lieutenant, Kevin first served as an enlisted Navy Cryptologist, and was later granted a commission as an Information Warfare Officer; he served from 1986-1992 & 2003-2015. Kevin has extensive experience in Risk Management and Human Resources.  A resident of South Dakota, Kevin spends a great deal of time in the Pensacola area, and also travels the US as he works to launch and market DrinKitz, and recruit additional sales teams.

Calvin Bonifacio is a pioneer in new age marketing strategies and mobile applications in the Pensacola area. Having launched projects such as GrubNinja and GrubOn T.V., he has connected the community with technology allowing restaurants to flourish with additional sources of revenue at very low cost, as well as, giving customers information through visual content and experiential marketing.

While travelling the country working with companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, and CompuCom training employees and deploying updates systems and softwares, Calvin realized the effect that technology has on large scale enterprises. This experience combined with the move to Pensacola and the advent of GrubNinja and GrubOn T.V. was the catalyst to LeadGrasp. We found a way to capitalize on Google strategies to develop and bring new businesses to the Gulf Coast region.

Calvin’s dedication lies in growing the Pensacola area since he plans on growing his family here. Therefore, not only are his endeavors for business purposes, but also to ensure the success of the local economy for future generations. Calvin realizes the potential growth that Pensacola holds and will help future business capitalize on this opportunities.

At the helm of the HW team, Richie brings years of marketing experience to businesses dedicated to sharing their carefully-crafted products and services with devoted customers. Each Spring, Richie coordinates the Success Summit in the heart of Downtown Athens, Georgia, an all-day event giving creative thinkers the opportunity to learn, connect and be inspired.

Our Mission

We help local business leaders get the word out about the important work they’re doing to serve their market, their community, and their profession.

We support and celebrate business by sharing positive business stories that traditional media ignores. Some media leans left. Some media leans right. We lean business.
