Ashby Kent Fox has practiced in Burr & Forman’s Litigation section since 2003 where she specializes in general commercial litigation. She has handled a wide variety of business disputes (tort and contract) for both plaintiffs and defendants, and her clients range from individuals and small businesses to large national financial institutions, including banks, lenders, mortgage companies and insurance companies.

Ashby represents her financial services clients in a variety of consumer finance and real estate matters, including actions for wrongful foreclosure, predatory lending, consumer protection law claims and other state and federal lender liability claims. In representing her title insurance clients, Ashby has handled numerous matters which involve evaluating and litigating bad faith claims, boundary line and easement disputes, one-half interest defects, lost or unrecorded security instruments issues, disputes over damages and loss valuations and other issues that frequently arise in the title insurance industry.

Ashby has nearly 10 years of experience litigating in Georgia’s state and federal courts, and has tried cases (bench and jury trials) in both. Heather Generes serves as Global Vice President, Marketing for Recall. She is responsible for Recall’s marketing, product management and digital services business located across more than 20 countries in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia/New Zealand.

Heather joined Recall from Pitney Bowes, Inc. where she spent over 15 years serving in increasingly senior positions. Most recently, she was Vice-President, Global Product Management where she managed new product development and active product management of software, business services, and hardware solutions for one of the company’s key line of business. Prior to this role, Heather was Vice President, Customer and Product Marketing, for Pitney Bowes’ Asia Pacific Region where she worked closely with both commercial and government customers in markets such as China, Japan and Australia.

Heather holds a B.S. degree in Communications Studies from Northwestern University located in Evanston, Illinois and has completed executive management programs at both the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business, and the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business Administration.

NAWBO was founded in 1975 to represent the interests of women business owners particuarly in public policy matters that impact thier businesses, incuding and especially what we are discussing today, the Women’s Business Ownership Act. Today NAWBO has 5,000 members across 3 chapters nationwide. The NAWBO Atlanta Chapter was formed in 1997 and meets monthly on second Thursdays at The Buckhead Club for a business education program and lunch.

Tony Prince started his career in the late 1970s with General Motors as a trainer. He developed through his 25-year career to various senior executive marketing positions and owned his own franchise. Tony decided to use his marketing and consulting skills to concentrate on the growing field of individual health and life insurance. He is currently an Advisor and Field Trainer for The IPA Family which provides a full compliment of health and life insurance products for small business owners, self-employed professionals and their families.
