Melanie and I began this real estate experience together in 1995 and for more than 22 years have worked together to deliver the very best real estate experience to our customers.

I have been a Florida Licensed Realtor for over 20 years, have SOLD more than $500,000,000 worth of every kind of real estate from Pensacola to Destin to 30A and Panama City Beach.

In 2004 our team had outgrown the office space available at REMAX Southern Realty, I got my brokers’ license and we became Eimers Group Real Estate. Over these last 11 years we all have experienced a unique real estate economy and from this experience made the conscious decision to leave our agents and assistants and go back to doing what we enjoy most about the real estate industry and that is selling real estate.

Melanie & I are the brokerage now “Powered by EXP Realty”, both take this business very personally, so we can continue to provide a personalized boutique real estate experience to our customers.

With over 20 years of real estate experience, my job as I see it is to solve complicated issues associated with selling and buying real estate today and to help address customer expectations.

Jackie Davis is the Associate Director for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (ENI) at Georgia State University’s (GSU) J. Mack Robinson College of Business where she contributes to the Institute’s vision, strategy, marketing, and co-curricular efforts. She is also the faculty advisor for GSU’s Chapter Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) and the E-House Living Learning Community (LLC).

In her tenure with ENI, Jackie has helped grow Georgia State’s entrepreneurship programs beyond the classroom. She has established and overseen the planning and facilitation of over 30 co-curricular events a year that extend beyond the university’s academic programs in entrepreneurship. She also created the E-House LLC, and assisted in the development of the LaunchGSU Student Incubator. As an “intrapreneur”, Jackie enjoys building signature programs for the Georgia State community including, the WomenLead Center and the Women’s Mentoring Program.

After working in corporate America for six years, Ebonie Carzo decided that to truly follow her passion of helping start-ups and small businesses become successful, she needed to subject herself to the emotional and physical joys and pains of running a small business. My most recent job before accepting the Executive Director position at GCKH was at Studer Group. My heart has always been with not-for-profit organizations though and I have a decade of experience in this area. I have been with GCKH since December 2010. I serve as the President of the Florida Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers, a statewide membership organization representing all of the children’s advocacy centers in Florida. I am a proud Cordova Rotarian and United Way of Escambia County volunteer.

Kolleen Edwards Chesley has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and spent the majority of her career as a financial advisor. Our goal is for this to be a quarterly publication, however the magazine is currently on hold as we explore graphic designers. Our latest edition can still be found on our website.

– Annual Pursue Your Passion Women’s conference. To help celebrate National Business Women’s Week, we hold a full day conference during the third week of October along with several other events leading up to the conference. We feature a national keynote speaker, several local successful leaders in business, along with Speed Networking, an Experience Hall, structured and unstructured networking exercises and plenty of laughter, relationship building and excitement. Our attendees are not only motivated by the conference but they leave with tangible tips they can take back and implement in their businesses to lead them to success. For 2018, our conference will be held on Wednesday, October 17^th and Thursday, October 18^th, 2018 at Sanders Beach.

– Power Up Challenge is a 12 week educational series where we hold classes once a week for two hours. Classes focused around four main areas of business: Networking, Marketing, Business Efficiency, and Sales Skills. Open to men and women and all classmates receive the full audio recording of each class along with class notes, expanded notes, and extra resources. Remote classes also available. Classes are affordable and attendees are elated with the amount and quality of the information that is shared.

Tiffany Krumins, the first Shark Tank winner, is an Atlanta native and the inventor of Ava the Elephant, a child friendly dispenser that takes the fear out of taking medicine. Called a modern day Mary Poppins, Tiffany has gone from nanny to entrepreneur, and has seen her passion to help children grow into a business that is now known and loved all over the world.

Tiffany’s success story began when she was a nanny to a little boy with Down’s syndrome who was terrified of “medicine time”. To help alleviate his fear, she constructed an animal made of fabric, sponges, a store bought medicine dropper, and a recordable sound chip from a greeting card – and Ava the Elephant was born. Knowing that she would need to find a way to produce her invention, Tiffany began searching the internet and found a casting call on Craigslist that said: “Do you have the next million dollar idea but don’t have the funding to make it happen?” She immediately applied for the casting and was invited to be on the first ever episode of Shark Tank.

Her story has been a roller coaster ride as she went from being on a national TV show and receiving $50,000 to start her company, to learning just months later that she had thyroid cancer. While working from a hospital bed, she struggled through the growing pains of building a business and fighting cancer.
