Conscious Business Journey with Keren Goldenberg Thomas Eckschmidt Scott McIntosh and Brian Mohr

Conscious Business Journey is a US based, for- profit organization, founded by a group of enthusiastic conscious capitalists. All of us led at some point conscious capitalism chapters under Conscious Capitalism, Inc.

We nurtured communities, wrote articles and books about making capitalism more conscious, in parallel to build our own businesses. CBJWhiteLogo

What brought us together was the passion to make this vision more actionable, clear and easy to implement in any business.

So we combined our knowledge and developed practical programs, which are happily and rapidly being adopted by conscious capitalists around the world.

Our purpose is to accelerate conscious business impact of making the world a better place, by empowering people.

Keren Goldenberg has been in corporate communication and employee engagement 13 years with global companies like HP. She is the General Manager of Conscious Capitalism Israel since 2015.

Thomas Eckschmidt is a former farmer, degree in engineering with MBA in Finance. He spent 10 years in the corporate world, 10 years in consulting through 20 different countries and 10 years of entrepreneurial journey, with 11 awards, 4 patent led and 7 books written, including coauthor of Conscious Capitalism Field Guide by HBR.

Scott-McIntosh-on-Phoenix-Business-RadioXFollowing an early career focused on underground mining engineering, operations and construction, Scott McIntosh grew McIntosh Engineering to become a preeminent worldwide engineering, design and project management firm focused on providing deep underground mining services to large international mining companies.  After growing to $50+ Million in annual revenue and 280 worldwide employees, McIntosh Engineering was acquired in 2008 and Scott began his exploration for what’s next. Conscious Capitalism Arizona was founded by Scott in 2012 as the 3rd Chapter in the world, following only Chicago and Australia.  Now CCAZ is part of a truly global movement with 40 total chapters including 10 international locations.

Brian Mohr’s career-to-date has been a learning-based journey with an intense focus on people, purpose, values, culture, leadership, and advocating capitalism as a force for good. Brian was a founding member of Jobing.com, one of the original online job boards, which he helped grow to over 350 employees and $38M in revenue over an 11-year period. He later became director of talent strategy & acquisition for P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and Pei Wei Asian Diner restaurants before joining forces with his co-founder, Max Hansen, to create the first purpose-based leadership search firm, Y Scouts, in 2012. In the summer of 2018, Brian doubled down on his commitment to leveraging business as a powerful force for good and joined the Arizona Chapter of Conscious Capitalism as its first President.

Brian is on the Global Board of Trustees of Conscious Capitalism, Inc., a member of the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of the Pacific Southwest, and author of his first book, “Hiring on Purpose – How the Y Scouts Method is Revolutionizing the Search for Leaders”.

Joyce Wheeler founded Heavenly Bodies in 2012. After her husband suffered from health issues she started educating her self on various products and their ingredients. She started to study herbs and while doing so learned how to create a salve. With her sense of curiosity she decided to put some herbs together to create her own healing salve, which is one of Heavenly Bodies’s most popular products.

Joyce’s is interest in living a more natural life lead her to conducting research in the areas of food, cleaning products, beauty care, meditation, exercise and more. She began blogging on the topic of homeschooling in 2008, doing curriculum reviews, sharing helpful links along with documenting her experience as she homeschooled her own children. Then as her interested grew in living a more natural lifestyle she began blogging on this topic in 2012 and freelance writing on the topic in 2014. From their she wanted to learn more and share her findings, so in 2015 she started a natural living magazine and podcast. Joyce also gives talks on living natural as she has a strong passion for helping others.

Due to her interest in creating more organic skin care products Joyce enrolled in an organic skin care class in 2016. This has allowed her to learn to create safer products, customize them and has lead to four new products in the Heavenly Body skin care line. She received her certification as a Boutique Skincare Designer on October 13, 2017.

While Joyce’s main focus at this time is on Heavenly Body, she continues to do research on all facets of natural living along with the ingredients she uses.
