Senator Brandon Beach is the executive director and one of the founders of the North Fulton Community Improvement District (CID). The group focuses on moving infrastructure projects forward. Under his leadership, the North Fulton CID has invested more than $18 million to help bring more than $91 million in new infrastructure for the district area. Senator Beach is a member of numerous community boards including the Regional Business Coalition, Encore Park for the Arts, and the Historic Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Senator Beach received an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Centenary College. He is also a graduate of the Regional Leadership Institute and a former member of the Alpharetta City Council and the Alpharetta Planning and Zoning Commission. He and his wife Shuntel have two children and have lived in Alpharetta for 24 years.

The Summit has 24 therapists in 12 locations that provided 14,000 clinical hours to 2,382 children, teens and adults in 2016. Tim also runs and is president of several business organizations including the Vermont Bucks, an arena football team located in Burlington, VT. The Bucks were the 2017 Can-Am Indoor Football League Champions and led the league in points as well as attendance. Tim and his wife Cherie reside in Daytona Beach, FL and are now seeking a second home in the Buford area. Tim attended high school at South Burlington in Vermont and college at Glenville State where he was a kicker on the football team. He graduated from the Community College of Vermont. After college he played four years of arena football in Daytona Beach.

He served as the Battalion Commander for the 16th Armored Engineer Battalion in Giessen, Germany and then served as the Military Advisor for the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works) in the Pentagon. His Colonel-level commands included Garrison Commander of US Army Garrison – Japan, followed by his appointment as Commandant of the Army Management Staff College until his retirement in 2009. His operational deployments included Kuwait, Egypt, Bosnia, Kosovo, and Albania.

From 2010 to 2017, Garland worked at the University of Phoenix, first as the Associate Regional Vice President for the Military Division, and then as the Dean of Operations for the Colleges of Humanities and Social Sciences. His last position at the university was the Dean of Academics for the College of Criminal Justice & Security simultaneously serving as the Vice President for Military Relations. He recently moved back home to the Atlanta area and now works as a Small Business Consultant with AFLAC.

Months before her high school graduation, Elease made the tough decision to deny the opportunity to pursue playing college basketball and solely pursue academics instead.
