I want to thank my guests who are all very busy people but were gracious in sharing their time with me in Booth 61. My guests included two of Atlanta’s most respected CIO’s, the first is with Novelis, Karen Renner & the second with NCR, Bill VanCuren, from the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, Dennis Gardin & McKenzy Bailey, and our two TechBridge Superstars, CEO James Franklin & Program Manager for the new “Adopt-A-Nonprofit” initiative, Jennifer Higgins.

I could write 25 paragraphs about this show and it would not do it justice. We laughed, we shed a few tears of gladness and joy, and we shared from our united hearts about all of the great things TechBridge is doing to change lives in our community and in 20 other cities. Over 6.5 MILLION people have been touched by TechBridge through the over 100 not for profit agencies who partner with TechBridge. As I said, I cannot do this broadcast justice by my words. You will have to listen and enjoy the passion we all experienced for one another, for our city, and for all of the lives who have been touched and will be touched through TechBridge including those served by the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation which is a miracle story on it’s own.

Special thanks to my sidekick and Hunter Technical Resources “LinchPin”, Jess Jones for her social media skills in helping share the story before, during, and after our broadcast. Thank you Clint Bailey and all my colleagues at Hunter for sponsoring Booth 61. I am honored to be part of the HUNTER TEAM.

Susan Johnson & Anthony Piniella/NCR Corporation

Based in Duluth, NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) is the global leader in consumer transaction technologies, running the everyday transactions that make consumers’ lives easier and help businesses drive profitable growth by creating exceptional customer experiences. The company powers more than 450 million consumer transactions a day across multiple industries, and works with numerous professional sports teams, including the MLB, NHL, NBA and 65 percent of all NFL stadiums.

Today, stadiums have to work hard to lure fans as the rise of the stay-at home fan has become a real concern. In addition to spending hundreds of dollars on tickets and concessions at the stadium, fans are increasingly frustrated that they spend much of the game waiting in lines rather than watching the game. As a result, many are opting to watch the game from the comfort of their couch.

With a new four-year partnership, NCR and the Atlanta Falcons are teaming up to bring fans an exceptional game experience, leveraging new technology for NCR to drastically reduce time spent waiting in line for Falcons merchandise. This will make home games more enjoyable and convenient, and boost sales for one for one of the most well-known franchises within NCR’s local community.

Sheri Snyder/Objet d’Art Gallery & Studios

Step inside Objet d’Art Gallery & Studios and enjoy original work of more than 50 local and regional artists. In their “Fun Art” Studios, you can walk-in anytime for pottery painting and fused glass. They have regularly scheduled instructor-led canvas painting as well as glass and clay classes. Bring your refreshments and your friends and family… have fun and be creative! Groups of 10 or more can schedule private events anytime (based on availability). Call (678) 429-2550 to schedule your team building, Scouts (including badge work), birthday or bachelorette gathering. They have walk-in pottery painting every day!
